Whey protein

Whey protein is a mixture of the proteins which are globular and are obtained from “whey” (liquid material which is a byproduct of cheese production) by the isolation method. If study is to be believed then the whey proteins possess anti-inflammatory properties.
The whey protein is available in three forms which are as follows:
Concentrates: they contain low levels of fat and cholesterol but have a large amount of carbohydrates and proteins
Isolates: they are made to remove fat and contain protein in large amount
Hydro slates: they are partially hydrolyzed and can be easily processed. They have a bitter taste as compared to the other forms.
The various effects on whey proteins on health are as follows:
Reduces chances of heart diseases and cancer
Stimulate protein synthesis and help in the process of transcription
Act as anti-oxidant and save the body from the damage caused by toxins.
