What Causes a Sinus Yeast Infection

A sinus yeast infection may be hereditary or may be caused due to problems of the immune system of our body. The various causes of the sinus yeast infection are as follows:
By inhaling air which contains a fungus known as aspergillus
It is basically a yeast infection which occurs quite often and is caused due to the continued use of antibiotics of any kind. The main reason is the side effects of such antibiotics over a continued usage
Continued allergy in the form of common cold: as the nasal passage is infected so the conditions are favorable for the growth of bacteria which cause the sinus infection.
In case a person has an autoimmune disorder or has recovered from a recent illness, in that case the chances are of the sinus yeast infection are increased.
In case seasonal allergies like hay fever etc are present: they lead to inflammation of the nasal passage and form the breeding grounds for yeast causing infection.
