But this is not feasible for them as they are undergoing a phase wherein new body components are being generated and there are internal as well as external changes that may or may not reflect on the body. Yet, once the concept of loosing weight gets into their minds, it is very hard to convince them.
There may be several reasons why teens want to loose weight, the most common being the capability to impress others by using more designer clothes and with a slim figure they can also attract the opposite sex. But few things are natural. There may be abnormal growth of muscles or deposits of fat which are later corrected by the body itself.
To be on the safe side, what teens can do to loose weight is to avoid fast food corners. Oily foods will further deform their bodies rather than shaping it up. Use Dairy Products even if they don’t like it because they are the safest way to lose weight instead of joining a crash program.
They can also use some exercise. Playing, running, and swimming etc are liked by these age groups and they also serve as good exercises.
