Tips to give you relief from menstrual cramps

Menstrual cramps are something that almost every woman complains of. Every month menstrual cramps are the reason of extreme pain and discomfort to many. If you have been suffering from these cramps than here are a few tips that you can follow-
1) Follow a healthy diet- eat loads of healthy food like green vegetables, drink loads of water. Junk food and soft drinks should be avoided.
2) Stay active- though menstrual cramps might bring you down and make you lie all day, you will be amazed to find that walking or cycling will actually ease your pain.
3) Apply heat- a lot of woman use hot water baths or bottles to apply heat to the area where the cramps causes pain. This leads to a considerable reduction in the intensity of the pain.
Painkillers- there are many painkillers in the market that are manufactured with the sole intention of reducing menstrual cramps. Having them from the moment your menstrual cramp begins will not only reduce the pain but also the blood flow.
