      Symptoms of anxiety attack

      By cooldude | February 2, 2011

Anxiety attack is dangerous as it may collapse your nervous system. Thus it is better to identify the symptoms to handle the situation effectively.

The first symptom of an anxiety attack is increased palpitation or beating of your heart. In this situation, our heart tends to send more blood to the legs and arms. As a result the other organs, especially the stomach and brain do not get enough oxygen. Hence, you will have an agitated feeling in your stomach. Breathing trouble is another sign of an anxiety attack. You tend to breathe faster. And because of fast breathing, there will be a tight feeling on your chest.

As the brain is deprived of the necessary oxygen, you might stay dizzy for a while. There will be a rise in body temperature, and you will start sweating. Fatigues, weakness, drying of mouth are other indications of anxiety attack. Be careful, and do not try to move, as your leg muscles get tensed when you are panicking too much.
