Right Chest Pain

Although we all know that chest pain is a sign of a heart attack, this is not always the case. There could be several factors that lead to chest pain and some of these could be benign whereas others are an indication of a serious condition. If you experience chest pain on the left, it is a sign of angina pectoris (non-cardiac condition) condition known as fibromyalgia. Angina is a medical term that is used to describe heaviness, pain, numbness or pressure that occurs in the breastbone or across your chest.
It is rare to experience chest pain on the right because of cardiovascular condition. If you experience pain on the right, it may be due to gallbladder problems or liver inflammation. Hepatitis or liver inflammations are some of the common causes of right chest pain and they occur as a result of diseases affected the liver. See a doctor if you have chest pain of any side.
