Insulin is a type of hormone that controls the amount of sugar in the blood. It is secreted by the pancreas. The hormone is very important in digestion and is therefore necessary that it’s produced properly. Just as diabetes 1 is caused by inadequate production of insulin, it results to excess glucose in the blood. This hinders the kidney from filtering the excess glucose-small surface area to volume ratio.

Diabetes 2 makes the body not to react on the insulin that is produced by the pancreas. This can however be treated by proper diet and taking drugs. Diabetes 1 can be treated by syringes filled with insulin, this is administered through injections. Both diabetes 1 and 2 are harmful to the body organs and should therefore be treated in good time. Insulin manages diabetes as it is the chief controller of all the glucose in the body. For its resistance, a lot of exercise and healthy diet should be taken to minimize the risk of contracting diabetes.
