For someone suffering from diabetes, a diet plan is very vital for effective management. Always consult your physician before you begin any new plan of diet and make sure that you eat only foods that are accepted for diabetics and eat only specified amount. Do not skip meals or take a snack in between planned meals. Use a standard measuring cup, a table spoon or a teaspoon to measure all foods to ensure proper portion sizes measure foods after cooking.
